CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

So the bank is slowly running out of circulated pennies. So gave it a go at new coins. Found this on 2021-D. Is it DDO on United States of America WIN_20210919_14_20_18_Pro.jpg WIN_20210919_14_20_42_Pro.jpg WIN_20210919_14_20_26_Pro.jpg ?

Unless it's a reflection, it looks very promising to me!! That could be a winner! Show the entire coin, front and back.

I have a hard time freehanding the microscope for a full view, so hopefully theses are clear enough to see. Apologies in advance if they are a little blurry.

Interesting. It would need to be seen in hand to verify it.

If it is indeed die deterioration then there is no added value. DDD is typical for coins that have been struck by a die that has already struck many, many coins. The deterioration gets worse the more coin coins that are struck with that die.
