1982 Zinc Small Datep

I’m not very good at knowing that difference between small date and large date so if anyone could please let me know if I’m correct. It also has what I believe to be mechanical doubling on the 2 in the date or is that something else?You do not have permission to view this gallery.

This is a large date coin. There very well could be some MD on the 2. I just can't tell. Here is a nice article on the two with some other interesting facts about 1982 cents.:

There were both copper and zinc large date coins minted this year. There were plenty of each so there are plenty available for collectors. The weight of the coin determines its composition. 2.5 grams for zinc, 3.1 grams for copper.Bob Piazza
