Four 1943 S Steel Wheat Pennies
My husband and I purchased a roll of uncirculated original bank wrapped 1943 S Steel wheat cents. We haven't seen any matches so far for the triple S error that we have discovered on the 1943 S. Here are the four coins from the same roll listed below, there are also a few more coins from the same roll that we have not listed.Tags: None

That's pretty typical for a lot of 1943 cents. There is die deterioration and plating issues on many of these coins. There is also struck through grease issues. I also just went through an uncirculated 1943S roll, and almost all of them has issues just like this. Based upon what I am seeing here, noe of your examples are actual die varieties, but are die and striking errors.Bob Piazza

James Wiles helped CONECA with attributions and recently handed the duties back over to CONECA
His website can be a GREAT starting location to locate any possible candidates.
