CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

Hard to know for sure if it is or not. That coin is pretty beat up. Even if it was, theres not much value to it anymore

Thank you for at least taking a look. I didn’t think it had much value but I was not sure if it was or wasn’t a RPM. It stood out when I saw it through the loop. So I kept it. Thanks again for looking at it.

Since you have the coin in hand....

What I recommend is heading over to http://varietyvista.com to see if you can match it up to any there.

Another good website is https://www2.briansvarietycoins.com/ Brian adds great photos throughout the site, even under items he is selling so you may be able to find a match over there as well.

Thanks I will do that. I did check variety vista and did not see one similar but it also could be that it is in such disrepair also or it is just damaged. Thanks Gary for taking a look and the site information.
