    1930 S Buffalo RPM1?

Your thoughts on the possibility of this 1930 S Buffalo nickel matching VV RPM001? The arrows show the parts I think might match. I did not find the die crack at the U in Untied. Wexler has several other options but none that match the VV entry. Thanks!

Not even close. You have to remember the MM position to the letters above it, have to match exactly. Besides that, its still not even close to matching that RPM and I dont see it matching any RPM on VV. I just cant tell with the glare if the part under it is anything

Thanks. I have been focusing more on the mint mark. I see now that the RPM001 mint mark is located closer to the C in cents and my coin's mint mark is a bit closer to the "E" in five. It makes sense that this relationship could not vary if stamped from the same die. I will add this tidbit into the examination process.

This is all part of learning. Now that it's in your head, you will find you remember it easily.
