CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • 2016P W. Virginia Quarter

I discovered what I believe the first two DDR varieties on this quarter. I have every intention to send them both to Wexler. The doubling is similar to that of the 2015 Nebraska Homestead quarter in the windows. Posting for your guidance. I'm including a photo of a normal reverse for comparison.

I can see what you are referring to. It does appear to be something the Wexler would list, but a CONECA attributer would have to make the call if it would be too minor to list or not on Variety Vista.

Thanks Bob. It only costs a few bucks to send it to him.

Make sure you email John W. before sending anything.
I personally do not know him that well, but he may take limited submissions these days?
            Just a precautionary thing.

Thanks, I'll do that. I live pretty close to him. I know he's been having health issues.
