Let me know who and how to send it in to get verified. I am really getting into hunting for RPM's I was recently over in Seattle area and found a LCS and was able to purchase 14 various dated 60's D minted rolls (full rolls same dates in roll). The LCS did not know if they had been searched but they all appear to be UNC, and he sated he got them from a collection a lady brought in from her passed husband. Most of the rolls wrappers are old and ones I have never seen. Almost do not want to break into them. But I will and I only paid a average of $5-$6 a roll.

PNW.... if you are planning on getting it looked at by CONECA, then start a new post here:
      https://board.conecaonline.org/forum/attributions

Give them as much info as you can, in your initial post
      - decent photos and even add this URL to your new thread. The initial post seems to be the one that gets the most attention, so give it all to them then. Bob might be able to assist as well with this, you can PM him and ask.

Me, myself, I am just a CONECA state rep, without any authority within this forum, so I can only offer you what I know from past experiences on here.

I will say this, I cringe at paper rolls, the Verdigris can get on coins and make them butt ugly quickly - especially if one lives by the ocean. IF they were my rolls, I'd be cracking them open, searching the rolls and putting the coins in plastic round tubes and tightening them down good. They are your coins, do as you wish.

The 1960 year had over 100 RPM's including the small date over large date and some truly insane looking RPM's.

I do not mention this often, but if you need some gloves to handle coins, ULINE.com sells a decent variety of cotton inspection gloves. they come in pairs (typically 12 pair in a package), but I only use one glove at a time, they last pretty long in my opinion. One my hand starts to get hot, I take the glove off, then let it air dry. I may grab a second glove and keep going, but that's rare. I typically take a break from the coins, and when I do return, the glove is ready for action once again.

Can you post a photo of the entire date and mintmark close up? Any markers would also help. I may be able to match this one to Wexler's listings, it looks familiar..

            1961-D-W055c03.jpg 1961-D-W055c02.jpg Evening.
I need a close date, mintmark photo - to me these are dim and out of focus. Plus If I only have that photo, I still need marker photo's to try and link the variety to known Wexler listings to me.
I'm asking alot I know. Be patient if you cannot add the photo's. The listings will take a long time to photograph and you may, eventually be able to attribute your coin to Coneca's CML, and pay ""0""; but this will take alot of time.
Here is a copy of Wexler RPM#55 Stage "C". This coin is later die state than yours but this is the type of picture we need to overlay and tell you for sure if it is listed anywhere we know.
            Thanks, Eric

Thanks for the examples I think you are right about it being WRPM#55 hopefully the two attached pictures are better. The "C" in cent has the same die chip.

I'm pretty sure that is Wexler RPM#055. Can you confirm 1961-D-W055c04.jpg this OBV marker also?

Confirmed. Also looking at Copper coins at this RPM I did not see the above picture. Are these your pictures or what website did they come from?

First off I'll introduce myself: I'm Eric Axtell
Long time Coneca Member and a founding member of the original NCADD #21 - if you remember the old Wexler Magazine from the early 90's. Yes I've been collecting this stuff for almost 30 years..
The photo's you see are of one of my coins - my photo's of an attributed RPM..

Thank you Eric so much for your help. I have been coin roll hunting for awhile but living on the west coast and most of the cents in my bank boxes are Denver minted and after I found that first RPM I knida got bite by the RPM bug. I almost like looking for RPM's more than minor errors. I have lots to learn and again thank you for your help.

For me, it makes attribution and photography of the coins soooo much easier. The 16 megapixel digital microscope camera was the ultimate buy, it has the clarity and the depth of field. I really like the microscopes at AMSCOPE.com.

Also I like the 2.0 Barrows Lens over sat a 1x or 1.5 x, it allows me to get decent close up, and does not require a lot of lighting. The Barrows lens can come with a stereo microscope...at least both of my trinocular scopes have them. I will say, I paid for what I really wanted/needed. I didn't want to skimp and have to rebuy something. I am referring to that digital camera for the microscope.

Over the couple of months, on my free time, I have been getting coins ready to be listed on Google. Its a lot of work, but the microscope allows me to enjoy it. That is until I hit a bump in the road, and find another unlisted RPM. Then, I am posting another on here, bugging Bob P once again.

For me, this is fun, relaxing and enjoyable.
