2018 D Roosevelt Dime - Doubling on Obverse

Hi All. I have been looking at this dime for awhile and am still uncertain as to the type of doubling. Therefore, I am asking the experts to chime in. I see doubling on the ear, split serifs and spread on IGWT and the date. However, exactly what type of doubling I am unsure. Dimes are difficult to photograph so I hope the pictures are adequate. Thank you for any comments.

The photos are a bit off.

On the ear only, I think I see some shearing lines, like a mini filing almost. I believe thats is damage IMHO.

The other photos are a bit difficult to analyze.

I think I see some of the area you are talking about, and I have to remind myself that this IS a newer year coin. I will keep that soapbox hidden...

This coin is probably best left to dime people with decent experience with newer coins.

John Welxer does not list many dimes.
His attribution area for dimes lists the year, 1970.
Variety Visa doesnt have anything listed.
I am running out of options...
I have not checked Brian's nickel site to see if he has any dimes list... yet.

Thank you MintErrors. It is hard to photograph these coins appropriately. Please take note of top left of the devices, especially G,O and E. I will try to get a better picture of the ear.

I am seeing what appears to be significant die deterioration around the obverse motto. I think that is what we are seeing here.

Here is the best close up of the ear I am able to achieve. Hmm. Thanks for looking.

Nice photos of the ear. It does look like machine doubling (MD).
