1972 LMC. Confirmation of Find
Hello Bob, it’s been a crazy weekend. Since we last spoke I found two more FS-105’s (3 total now) which is sweet but what I named help with see below. I think this is a LDS FS-106 but the die quality is so poor I need more experienced eyes on it. What do you think? If indeed I do have the fs106 I may lump it in with a group of coins Im already sending to ANACS. My concern is that although it is a bu coin it’s so poorly struck and beat up I wouldn’t even make a 64 grade. Now I know You’re not a grader but and probably don’t wanna give a solid answer one want or the other but do you think it’s too beat up to encapsulate? I think values warrant sending it to ANACS provided I don’t get killed on the condition. It’ll be a keeper for me. NFS. Any way take a look and let’s be sure I even have a FS-106 first. I certainly appreciate all your help with these. It’s a huge learning experience for me .Have a look:Tags: None

Hi Don. After looking through your photos, I am not convinced that it is an FS-106. I do not believe any grading service could positively identify this one as well. I can not make out anything that could be used as a positive identifier. I took the photos on coppercoins of an LDS specimen, and you can still see most of the separation, so even if yours is a VLDS, I just don't think a positive ID is at hand.
