In 1918 artist at the mint restored the vdb initials to the coin. Reverse wheat ears flanking One Cent United States Of America. The motto: E. Pluribus Unum on the top perimeter the designers vdb appear on bottom periphery. I believe that this example, the small vdb initials engraved periphery at bottom base as is this example. And it doesn’t display any wear from circulation.
