CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • 1906 Indian Head Cent CONECA MPD-008 Snow-15 0 in denticles

I went through a roll of IHC I recently acquired. This is the only one out of the fifty that has any promise. MPD-008 Snow-15 I believe.

,it very well may be. The lighting is just a tad too dark for me to confirm.

The top of the modern (whether a 0 or a 6) should be noticeable just above the denticles.

Mr. Rick Snow stated that, the misplaced digit is prominent above the denticles.
This makes it much more desirable than ones where the digit is in the denticles.
This seems to be quite scarce.

But, the coin has a 1 out of 5 star rating.

Rick Snows flying eagle and indian head cent e-book is the best.
One of the best attributing guides I have.

Thanks Gary for taking a look at this one for me. I was able to take a photo of the date and here is the picture. I’m not sure how well you can see what looks to me like a 0 or 6 above the denticle below the 0 in of the date. Just wanted some help. I’ve been wrong more times than ide like to admit. Always seem to want to think I see what really isn’t there I guess.

Well it looks good to me.
it's on the right denticle, and the right height.
        Congrats.
