What do you all think? MPD, tricky PSD, or something else? If MPD, is it a known variety and I'm just missing it?

1908 Indian Head MPD?
Came across this 1908 IH that looks like it could be a Misplaced Digits, however I cannot find a known variety of it. It looks like the inside impression of one of the 8s was left in one of the Denticles.

In my opinion, with it being exactly on the denticle, this is post mint damage. Normally you should see more of the number on the field (flat area of the coin) and less on the denticles.

There are two peculiarly bent denticles exactly three spots over from the center of 0 & again from the 8. I did the following photo edits with a phone app. It looks pretty intriguing. Would you still go with PSD/PMD? If so, I will accept it and move on.Originally posted by MintErrors View PostIn my opinion, with it being exactly on the denticle, this is post mint damage.
