  • 2009 P Professional Life WDDR-025 find

    Just a share. No questions.

I have had 4 rolls of 2009 P Professional Life Lincolns that my brother gave me staring at me for the last couple of years. Finally decided to open one up and found 5 of the WDDR - 025 variety. The most exciting thing to me was the die crack marker vs. the extra thickness. Since these were right out of the roll from the mint I was also disappointed in the quality of the coins. Have a lot of spots. May not have been stored very well.

Description: Extra thickness shows on the upper and lower window sills in the target area, the tops of the columns, and the triangular line details above the columns.

Reverse Stage C: The die crack from the center of the U in UNITED now extends to the N. The die crack through the T in CENT extends well into the field above the T.

Nice find RollmeupAbe, I used to save rolls then one day I decided not to and haven’t ever since. Best decision I ever made!

After looking at this one further I have determined the die crack on my coins on the T in CENT is not the die crack from WDDR-025. In the Wexler picture the die crack starts at the top in the same spot but the break down the length of the T is in the center in the Wexler coin. On my coin the break stays on the right side of the T. Here are the pictures showing the differences.
