  • 1969-D Lincoln Cent CONECA RPM 009

I have a 1969-D Lincoln Memorial Cent which I believe is CONECA RPM 009. Mr. Wiles at Variety Vista lists this as a D/D. But What I see on a BU example is a D/D/D at a minimum. There is a split serif on the bottom, although minor.

    Have a look :

They REALLY tried to clean this one up and hide the misplaced "D":

White arrows note a wider bottom horizontal bar, a common sight when there is CW or CCW mintmark under the primary mintmark.

    Morning Gary,
I think your coin is a bit earlier die state than most. Mine is Wiles Stage "A" and I really cannot tell the extra serif is there on a EDS state coin with a 15X loupe.
It's so minor - if this was the ONLY part of this coin - No East. It would be ""To minor to List."""
