i don't see any rpm on the large size trueview and the thing in the B is connected to the machine doubling i also see on other devices in that image.
i'm just posting this for the convenience of others. not the sharpest trueview i've ever seen but it should do.

Hello occnumis2021, Thanks for the input. When I first saw the 'S', the first thing that came to my mind was MDD. But I combed the reverse and the only other possible MDD I saw was the anomaly at the 'B' in 'E P U'. I am not convinced that the anomaly is not a struck through fiber or something. Could the MDD be only on the mint mark? I would most def like to examine the coin in hand with better optics. However the bid is $400 and not done yet so there is no chance that is happening! Thoughts of comments?

there is a very slim chance it is an rpm, unfortunately, for me anyway, i'd need clearer pics to be certain.
variety vista has one that looks similar but it is a different mm style - http://varietyvista.com/10%20Walking...946SRPM002.htm
the rpm on the site is a trumpet tail (i think) and yours is a ball serif.Last edited by occnumis2021; 06-02-2023, 09:17 AM.coinfacts.com - conecaonline.info - board.conecaonline.org/forum/numismatic-site-links - briansvarietycoins.com - coppercoins.com - cuds-on-coins.com - doubleddie.com - error-ref.com - franklinlover.yolasite.com - ikegroup.info -lincolncentresource.com - maddieclashes.com - money.org - ngccoin.com/price-guide/world - ngccoin.com/census - ngccoin.com/resources/counterfeit-detection - nnp.wustl.edu - pcgs.com/pop - pcgs.com/coinfacts - pcgs.com/photograde - varietyvista.com - vamworld.com
