CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • LG 1960-D RPM-001 FS-502 5 STAR rated RPM.

Greetings forum, seeing a lot of RPM questions I decide to make my first post for such a Variety. This is one of my favorites in my collection and is the Key RPM
listed for my near complete collection of Variety Vista`s 1960-D RPM Book. I am not happy with the photos so give me some time and will work on the lighting formula necessary for well focused images. Please let me know what you think and always appreciate those here who help us understand what we are seeing through the loupe.

The Die markers are the Die Chip at the lower Corner, Die Clash in Bay#3, Partial Frontal Hairline. This puts this coin in a Stage D condition. Enjoy

      Nice lightly circulated coin Randy!
These can still be found in circulated bags but are far less available in BU rolls. At least in the mid west.
