  • 1972 P Lincoln cent with secondary roof- top left of the buiding.

I came across this cent early in July and noticed a raised line above the top right of the building. It has good separation and definition but it ends fairly abruptly.

Hoping someone here can give me some insight what it might be if it isn't a DDR.

Greetings, I have seen this before and more likely will again on OP`s pennies, the senses is it being a Die crack but not 100%. This is another coin not from this poster, but from another person in another place where we discussed possibilities. Unfortunately they popped of the photo from their digital microscope.

1971 P, that certainly was supposed to be a important part of my showing another example of this anomaly. Sorry

          Thanks folks.
I'll have to get a close-up with the scope. In person, it doesn't appear to be a die crack.

Agree, this was a problem we were having with the OP`s coin being photographed off of the screen, making solid determinations of what is going on with coins based off photos can sometime at best be a hunch, or dare i say a guess. Could you take this to a LCS to have some in hand examination done perhaps ?
Even get with the folks here and see if they would like to have it for analysis. JMHO
