CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

I'm seeing doubling on this 2001 Lincoln Cent. I see line separation and "split serifs" on the lower part of the E, lower right of the R, and the upper left of the Y in LIBERTY. I also see line separation and notching in the date. I've also included pictures of WE and TRUST, which also show doubling but more resembles plating disturbance doubling. It does not match current listings for 2001 DDOs. Let me know what you think.

With the Doubling going different directions its MD, along with the platting issue these zinclons so proudly adorn is nothing to spend time on sense you and I know there is no listed match.

Unfortunately, the images don't make it easy to see the details but there seems to be something happening, at least with the 00 of the date. The irregular shape at 1:00 & 7:00 is a regular diagnostic on modern cent varieties.

You will probably have to send this to an attribution service and then it might only get a "TMTL" designation. (Too Minor Too List)
