CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

That's not machine if it is y'all to change the ones you got recorded. I know what machine die is look at it close again please. Machine die is flat this is coming off the top of the lettering. Plus I match the doubling with existing listed Doubling on y'all site and wexlers. Before I post anything. I have noticed a lot of people get that confused but I assure you. If this machine Doubling people need to go back and redo there sites . But thank you for your opinion. I will not not be joining .

I am sorry you don't like the opinion offered to you. If you matched this doubling to existing doubling, then can you please tell us what was it attributed to. I can assure you that this is machine doubling. I think after 53 years in the hobby, I know what I am talking about. What does not work in your favor is to immediately get on the defensive about an opinion you asked for. Everyone else is wrong and you are right? If there was a chance I could be wrong, I would give you the benefit of a doubt and ask for other opinions. I can assure you of one thing. Hundreds and thousands of attributed varieties will not be changed because you said they were incorrect. You do not grasp machine doubling completely as it does not ONLY come off the tops of letters. It can affect the entire coin. I will give you a chance to reply, but if you want your information deleted, please tell us why so I can help take care of it for you.
