CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    1988d possible DDO?

    Hello, I havent been able to find any information on DDOs or TDOs for this date. Im seeing doubling on GOD and TRUST . What do you all think?

      Can you get a better pic of IN GOD? I think I see separation and notching. Could just be glare

        I downloaded the first photo. Cropped it and enlarged it. It looks lower and shelf like to me.
        Doubling for Kennedy halves is typically close to the same height.

        In my opinion, with the Kennedy halves typically if they show light to moderate separation on "IN GOD" then separation on "TRUST" is crazy easy to see.

        Add in the fact that the 1988D has no DDO's that are recognized by CONECA, leans me more in the machine doubling/strike doubling arena. Is there a minute possibility one may exist out there? Maybe, but odds are not very good.
