I have this DD that I found coin roll hunting and I can’t make out the last digit of the date to attribute this coin? Does anyone recognize this doubled die and Can fill me in? Thanks!

This coin has significant die deterioration, and/or grease strike by the appearance of the letters. I wouldn't be certain it is or isn't a doubled die, but I'm leaning toward not. This coin would benefit from a full coin shot so we can see what is going on here. I can't even correctly verify the date as is.Wendell Carper

Definitely year 2000 by the beard details. I think this may just all be from a grease strike that is making it look distended. There is significant portions of the lettering that is eaten away, probably by grease filling in the recesses of the die.Wendell Carper

Nice!! That’s good to know. The distended letters and numbers had me thrown for a loop. I hadn’t thought that the grease Strikethrough error the final numerical digit suffered would affect the entire coin like that. I had already searched the 2000 date at Wexler’s site, VV and CC and couldn’t find a DD attribution. Thank you. Your input is much appreciated!
