I haven't been able to locate this exact variation of the extended finger this one actually goes almost past the thumb and I haven't seen one that extends as far as this one does

Well, there are over 80 different varieties I believe. Here is a link to most of them. A quicklook and your coin might resemble DDR-002, FS-803.

This coin is DDR-050, WDDR-050 and CC 1DR-097. (FS-804).

This variety has caused confusion before because of the similarity to another and the length of the anomaly, The fact that it does protrude past the tip of the thumb is the key here. Very nice variety.
