Any of these coins can be authenticated to give them added value if you want to sell them some time. Your determining factor is whether or not you can recoup your grading fees should you plan on selling them. If you want to put together a real nice error collection, it is probably not a bad idea to have it authenticated.

So this is 2 separate coins right? Doesnt look like these pieces pair together. Like Bob said, I would have them authenticated. I have no clue when it comes to this type of error but they do sell for quite a lot if its a authenticated and slabbed. Cool finds

Kloccwork419, thanks for your input, but it's not 2 coins it's one coin that's split on the middle and when I put them together they weight the exactly same as the 1960 5 centesimos and they fit perfectly , it's not my intention to sell them yet for what I don't have a need for certification at the moment and they still carry a good price for people with knowledge ( don't take it personal) . If you

None taken. Its a very cool error coin. Not saying you should sell it or get in graded. Just saying if it was authenticated and slabbed, they get a nice premium. Never seen one with both pieces. You can get both graded in a double slab, that would be neat. To me, it looks like the real deal but Im not an expert with errors. I point them all to Mike Diamond.
