    2004 Bahamas One Cent DDR

Hey everyone, just going thru some of my older stuff. I found this searching rolls for Lincoln 2004 DDR's at the time. This was attributed as a class IV double die by BJ Neff. This was also in a issue of Error Scope (March/April 2008). The dots around the edge show doubling. One Cent shows division lines as does the inside and outside lines of the starfish. Unfortunately the obverse has some PMD to it (gouges, possible counting machine). I still have never seen another one looking off and on over the years. Just curious, has anyone ever see another one?

    Robert

Good find. It can be clearly see on one cent, with notching and cookie cutter style lines. A classic Doubled die.

I personally don't collect many foreign coins,, but I know some one that does.. I will ask them in the morning..

Last thing,, you may want to check out two places.. https://numista.com
Under the coins section they list occasionally know varieties..

      If you type in Google
Ngc world coin, and add in your coin year, country and denomination,, they may have more Info on it as well.

If I spot a foreign variety I can pick on eBay, I usually snatch them up. They’re cheap and usually extreme

Nice coin. I guess I need to start looking at foreign coins too.

I have a few others I will eventually dig out. There are quite a few extreme DDs, RPMs, RPDs that will make you say wow. The only problem I have found there isn't a whole lot of information out there on them. But, I may be wrong and just haven't found it yet'
            thanks for all the comments.
