CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • Looking for Danish Coin Varieties and Errors to Hunt

    Hello everyone!

I am trying to get back into the hunt after stopping about 7 years ago, but I now live in Denmark. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to look for or who to connect with?

Not off the top of my head, but I have a pretty diverse group of fellow collectors. Give me a bit of time, and I will see who or what we can get for you.

If is roll hunting Danish coins, I can only suggest the banks.

Ebay may have some varieties by country as well.

Numista.com is a source of great info, especially ifyou go under the COINS section. Choose your country, and the lower search bar is ery finniky but you can search for dates or denominations.

Thank you very much for the input. I will check out the site. If I get a good list of varieties, then I can really put in some work with the rolls.
