Hello all. I have some questions about the monetary currency Nickel coin, and I was not able to figure out the year in which it was issued. Can you, from a lot of your experience, tell me what year it was issued, as it appears on it, it was printed during the Second World War

You are correct in that these are war nickels. They were made between 1942 and 1945.

Since you have the coin in hand, which date do you think it is? I am leaning to it being a 1942. It really doesn't matter since it is damaged, but it is a pretty good game to play while trying to figure it out.
