CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Lincoln cent 1994 die chips

    Hi guys. I have this Lincoln cent and there is die chips on the numbers 99 isn't! or die cuds on coin.

    You are correct. They are die chips. There is really no market for chips like this, but some folks collect them as an oddity. FYI...Cuds encompass an area of the rim, so this one does not fall into that category.

        Hi all g Thank you all for your quick replies. I have some questions, please give me a full explanation. Of course, if you can respond and if you don't have any reason to respond, and as usual, I have some old coins and some of them are minor errors. Can I display them on the eBay site? Although I see many of the coins are showing worse than what I have, this also depends on the quality of the coins. I asked some friends, and they wont me to try, and some of them doubted me that I might offer them some cash coins, the price of which might be more than I would explain to them the price that I decided for sale. That is why I want to know how I can get the right price for the currency after I saw a lot similar to what I have, and some of them are very different from what I see in my eBay. I hope to receive a response from you, and if there is any site to check to make sure of the value, and much of what I see is the YouTube site, thank you very much in advance. Excuse me if my question was not clear because I did not have a very poor knowledge of the language

          I can not speak for what is sold on the auction sites. You are correct in that there are thousands of falsely identified item there. Just because you see it on eBay, it does not mean it is correct (or honest). If you want to sell on eBay, then be honest and completely up front with what you have to sell. You may make a sale or two, but if you are honest, then you will be successful.
