CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

      Evening Lance,
Cureosity is the coin photographed the 24-S Liberty Quarter Counterfiet? I made the mistake about 10 years ago buying one of those for $48 for a ""Reputable Dealer"". I was told here it was a counterfeit and looked it up on the web. Yep!

nah, i wouldn't post a US coin in this category (intentionally)

it is a spainish (spain) 20 or 25 pesetas. i forgot the denom.

heh, could you imagine a US SLQ with such a spread !!!!

I tried to find the Quarter in the mess I call my den/work room. I tried 3 times yesterday to find the thing in a plastic bag with the write up I found about the coin - was going to go back to the ""Reputable Dealer"" it came from and ask for the $$$$ Back.. It had a fairly nice spread near the date/mintmark/star but for the life of me, I cannot find it That's why I had to ask!!!!

if the context is, that somehow the coin transported itself through the ethos to me metaphysically somehow, i can confirm, i am disappointed, this is not the case.
