CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Greetings all, just got this roosevelt 2019 P dime out of my stack of dimes, under my microscope it looks like doubling on the date and mintmark but not visible with the naked eye ( my sight is not so good ) any comments would be appriciated, thanks in advance.

    Publication of obverse and reverse of the coin and where the damage is, please.

      Edbergh,
      The coin has die fatigue doubling. It's not a double die. As the die wears and gets hot some of the metal is shifted away from the elements.
      Also Remember there CANNOT be an RPM after 1989. The mintmarks were added to the working die in 1990 so an RPM after 1989 is not an option.

        Hello Eric, thanks for your comment, any value to this dime with "the die fatigue doubling" as is.
        I have lots more of coins I filtered out for extra revision which I will put online time permiting and if there pops up somthing interesting I will bring it along with me in august at the convention in chicago.

          We cannot comment to anything in value.
          Die Fatigue Doubling is just wear to a die. To me it's worth a dime.
