The VDB on the lower bust looking is not looking mushy unreadable also. Are one's like this sought after or even "a keeper"?

In my opinion, it really depends on your taste and what you want to collect.
The lamination is there, but so is a a decent amount of wear and tear through circulation. But, it is an older Lincoln cent.
I don't have the mintage numbers handy, but that can be looked at if you desire. You may want to go to pcgs.com and under coin prices find the slabbed value of this coin in average circulated condition. Not that I am suggesting to slab it, pcgs and ngc prices are for coins slabbed in their holder. It will give a general idea what these coins are worth, without any error.
As far as the lamination error goes, drama seems to be the key to getting heads to turn. If it's relatively easy to see it may be a keeper.
Nothing against your coin, I personally would place this in my specials bin. But, I have quite a few of these and if in this region they were plentiful then prices would be significantly lower.Gary Kozera
