Education Thread Images Not displaying/able to view all images?

clicked on some images throughout the thread that linked me to a page stating i'm not permissed to view the image(s).

The only time I get ""You don't have permission to view photo's"" is when I'm not logged in.

I could see all the photo's in that thread page 3 and on.

ok i shoulda dtried another browser first but it still doesn't work like it should in both MY firefox and chrome. hopefully some others can chime in, non permissed people that is.

i get this message when trying to click the image file names to open in a new tab since they aren't viewing in the thread. not all images mind you just some but i can only view a part of the images in the thread by openeing them in a new tab or click them which takes me away from the site to the image but they are like thumbnails size.

do you see them JUST viewing the thread or do you have to click them? all i see are file names and i'm 100% i'm logged in when i see all this. not a big deal but thought i'd mention it.

I see the same on top: Evidently I cannot screen shot - cut and paste to the browser what I see. I see the photo's you are trying to see - the first one is a dime.

i agree but i'm not able to be unofficially logged in.

it is most likely just some forum permission setting for closed threads.

i'd think it is on my end but this is the only forum or place on the net i have trouble with and this forum software is unlike any other i have encountered, so it probably isn't the easiest to modify and give local/global permissions to people and parts of the forms and features.

again tho, i am just mentioning it for anyone here at the site that WANTS that stuff to be publicly available and of course fairly readily.

there is a chance it is a higher elevation of permissions that you may not have access to? you may be able to lock/close/move/stick etc threads but the core code for granting those permissions is usually admin level only from my limited exp.

You should see all the attachments - ""Open"" with photo's if you are officially logged into the system. Coneca_Log_In.jpg

ya, i can't post to the forum w/o being logged in and i see your image above of you logged in just fine.

what i see in those threads is what i see in all the regular forums i post to when not logged in. i cannot post or see images.

you could un-close the thread for a few minutes (let me know if you do) and we can see if the images become visisble or not, that will quickly clear up if the problem is simple or not.

i just had a thought. i was mistakenly banned here a few months back and i'm wondering if i still have restrictive access or something?

what clued me in was when i log out, i can see pages numbers on the educational thread but NOT when i log in. very unusual.
