Yes, this is post mint damage. It's been in the ground more than likely. Or, as others have suggested, acid treated. It's in rough condition. The pitted surface usually means it's been In the ground. The mushy looking appearance means it could have been exposed to an acid based substance. The raised areas since they are on both sides, usually means it was exposed to high heat. In any event, all of those possibilities are post mint damage.Gary Kozera
