I saw this coin at the show last week and thought that this was a great education piece. There is sever mintmark shift left to right towards the rim, plus the die slightly turned CCW giving both the west side and north side some neat MD Damage.
The learning part for everyone: When your at a show, before you buy a coin that ""Looks"" like it maybe a variety. Turn the coin 90 degree's and see if the impression is raised. If it disappears or changes then be carefull. Take the coin to a better light. I know most dealers don't want folks cherrypicking every box they have. There not selling anything with us at the table, looking through every coin. Be Quick. Tables cost $50 - $500 for a show. They will remember you if you don't buy anything!
