In my opinion, no. Its pretty close to normal. The mint mark used to say the placement of the mint mark was to be in the field south of the date. I am paraphrasing. I will see if i can find smething dramatic that might be classed as an error. The only legit few that pops in to my head is an horizontal or inverted mintmark.
Even in the 1960s, there wasnt one that was severely tilted and they had boatloads of mint marks for that year.
There was a mint mark on this forum that appeared severely tilted less than a week ago. It was debunked, it was caused by split plating. It was a zinc cent.
Hello all, I ran across the nice 1983-D Lincoln. The D is rotated CW. VV has an RPM-2 but no where near as extreme a rotation. What are your thoughts? If its PMD its a good one. I haven't seen one this rotated but Im still a newbie (1yr). Thank you for taking a look.
