Website messing up again

What's up with the site now? I'll be right in the middle of looking at a post or even making one and BOOM the site locks up. Literally trapping you from moving. I have to do a soft reboot to get out of it and make it run again. IT'S FRUSTRATING AS ALL GET OUT AS I/WE PAY DUES FOR THIS and I doubt that's what we all signed up for.

I have had my fair share as well. Its been somewhat more behaved over the last few weeks, but it does freeze up on those moments when I have typed up a good reply. I was fortunate enough to be included with several CONECA staff members to discuss this issue. Its been on/off since March or April of 2025. I managed to capture a screen shot of what I get when I am on a tablet. I will see if I can add it here.

If I see this happening when the pages are loading through experiencing this issue many times, I am pretty confident that the site will eventually freeze. I have decided that if I have a lengthy reply I will type it up in a text editor, copy it and paste it here so the forum doesn't lock up on me when I am typing away.

When it freezes on me, I am using Firefox on both a windows PC and an Android tablet. I typically can close the browser window and it will do the trick. The site then takes anywhere from 20 to 45+ minutes for it to recover.

Another way to close out a stuck browser is to hit CTRL+ALT+DEL and choose TASK MANAGER. look for the browser you are using, right click and END TASK.

I haven't got fed up with it yet but who knows. I am not a big fan of VBulletin software, it has a bumpy past.

I enjoy helping people here with their error and variety questions, but we will see where this goes.

I will see if I can get Jamez to come in here and offer his opinion on the status of the forum.

Well, i left this post and when I wnt over to offer an opinion on another post that was 4 lines long.

I think it saved and the forum froze.
It took about 30 minutes to recover.
