 1935 DI have no idea what this is. It is either a Lamination Error, misguiged strike on a die that didn't last long or a corrosion problem. The D has Machine Doubling and look's like Deterioation on top of the Digit's. The Larger D appears to have MD on the N and E side. Just wanted your opinion. Thank's for your help.Tags: None

 If were in the mid 40s to the late 50s, I would say that it needed to be looked at closely for it may have been a wayward mint mark, but since it is the wrong size D, that is out.
 
 Like Mike, I do not have any idea. What ever it is, it does look interesting.
