CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Traildies.com contest

    I was able to find two nice doubled dies obverse just recently and since I do have both of them, I figured why not give them away. Here they are:






    All you have to do is guess when traildies.com is going to hit its 10,000 visitor to get these guys. We are at 9,603 on the 17 of April, 2009 @ 20;00


    To make it simple, guess the date and the quarter of the day (0000 to 0600 is 1, 0600 to 1200 is 2, 1200 to 1800 is 3 and 1800 to 2400 is 4) and the closet, without going over, wins both. If two people guess the same date and quarter, I'll split the prize.

    To make it simple on me, this is the only post where you can put your guesses.
