Look at his face close. There's doubling and does anyone no what that line is on his for head. And is his ear doubled. This is a ddo correct?Comment

I think we need to be realistic here. There are no 'Evil' cents and this is certainly not a DDO. With circulation wear and other damage, what you think you are seeing is called pareidolia. If you study the minting process, you would understand that what you 'see' is impossible.

Sometimes, people just don't get it. Your coin has damage on it. The line you refer to is most likely a plating blister. If you wish to continue with this one, I will just close the thread. We have many legitimate coins to try and assess here. Yours is not one of them Johnny.Bob Piazza

CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.
