Lincoln Cent Machine Doubling, or Overpunched Mint Marks (OMM)?
I have four 1969 S Lincoln pennies with odd looking mint marks. Are these all machine doubling errors, or possibly OMMs? Thanks!

Thanks Bob! I have one more that is a little different from those previous 4.
It is a 1951 S, and I found a similar one on VarietyVista.com. What are your thoughts about this one?
Possible OMM?
Thanks,
Mike

These are not the same die. The mint mark position is different and should be the first thing you check to verify. Your example is also pretty well circulated. You would need a better example to see the notching and/or separation lines.
In the future, we would appreciate a different post for each coin you want looked at. It helps to keep confusion down as to which coins are in each post. Thanls!Bob Piazza
