CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • Newbie here saying hello .

Hi everyone . My name is Sal . I just joined CONECA in the last week . I'm also a member over at cointalk.com and have a strong interest in Error Coins on U.S Coins Old and New . My collection consists of World coins , Modern coins and of course Error Coins.
I've been collecting coins for over 40 years casually and in the last 10 years have gotten more involved . I didn't start my liking to Error coins until about 7 years ago .
I'm looking forward to posting my Error Coins and learning more about error coins in General . I have several sites saved like Wexler's coin and Die varieties and several more .
Here is my first Photo in this forum . Thanks for reading. Any Questions ?
