CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Could this be 1989 lincoln nmm s?

    20210225_013214(1).jpg I have around 100 lbs of 1980s lincoln cents.....and after 82 when they changed to zinc strike was pretty bad lots with no lip lots with that ugly round speed bump thay goes thru all the lettering weak strikes and so on i found this roll hunting along with a 1974s that is beautiful but this one is so bright i had to take about 30 photos to get 3 that were ledgable the reverse is the same as obverse but i didnt want to touch it any more trying to remove it from bottom half of the case i have it in

    No, that is not the no MM Proof cent. This is just a well struck 1989 Phily cent. You would know a proof cent by the squared off rims as well as the clean fields, some with a cameo appearance.

      Thank you i have a few s proof cents but they are from the 70s which have a far different strike so i didn't think they would make a good ref i just pulled a 1974s from a roll i got from the bank yesterday that is really nice its a good clean red found lots of 60s nice reds in same rolls must have caught someone cashing in an old change jar

            Nice proof find from a roll. Just FYI...1974S was a business strike coin. In addition there were proof versions as well. You shouldn't have a hard time distinguishing between the two.
