CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    1958 D end of sheet planchet not technically clipped

    A blind person couldnt get this one wrong lol and no one can say otherwise on this one got this one the other day i know they bring a few bucks for a clipped planchet not sure if this ranks any different from the standard clip the reason i say end of stock is because the "clip has no radius to it....its a straight line but this most certainly is not damage done later in life..... the bottom of the lettering of in god is visible clearly the coin obverse and reverse is nice has no scratches or impact marks Etc i wish it was red instead of brown it would really be cool but i still like it

    There are straight, ragged and curved clips. Yours was probably punched from the side of the stock. Ragged clips are normally from the end of the strip. Either way, it appears to be a genuine clip.
