1980 d quarter doubling same on 1980 p

Ok so I got this 1980 p quarter and the reverse looks identical to the listed 1980 d ddr I took pictures up close of every area tried to mimic the same photo areas as the v Vista listing....also I understand this is a very circulated coin but I don't see how everything could have contact marks placed to make everything match it does make it easier to look at the listed 80d for the doubling first then compare my photos

Nice pics! I am not an expert, but I will say, the only thing I see that might pass for doubling is the N in United, the rest looks like it might be die deterioration. My opinion is that is is not a DDR, but we will have to see what other people say, have a great day!

I agree that this is not a doubled die. After looking at the listed 1980D coin, I can not see any class 2 doubling on this 1980P coin. The fact that the doubled die is on an uncirculated coin means we can at least see that doubling. With this coin, the circulation damage makes it impossible to verify any separation or notching.
