CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

This is a case where you may have zoomed in too much. I do think I see what you are referring to. It may not be listed on VV, but there are a few listed on coppercoins.com and doubleddie.com. Did you check them out yet?

I do think this one would be listable for VV but I need to see it backed out a little more to be sure.

Yes, this does appear to be listable for the VV files. Thanks for retaking the photos for me. As soon as we open up attributions for cents, you should submit it if you wish.

I revisited this thread because I originally thought this was a 1959...not a 1995. There is a difference since there were a completely different hubbing method for the 1995D cents. This procedure did not leave doubled eyelid varieties like the older hubbing method.
So now my thinking is that these anomalies on your coin may be gas bubbles, and not a doubled die. Have you tried to depress the area to see if it collapses? There is definitely something there, but now I have to see if I can pinpoint what it is.

On anything past the early 1960s is likely not a doubled eye. It's probably a plating issue.
