  • 1955 Wheat penny. Wrong planchet 2.5g

This 2.5g wheat penny seems to be on wrong planchet. It seems double denomination. There's foreign writing. Letters maybe images mixed with the 1955 design .Both obverse and reverse. It is not silver.

Where are you seeing foreign writing?

Because it mainly looks like this coin has severe damage.

        This is a damaged coin.

It probably is one of those Lincolns that wee altered in the 50s and early 60s to be the size and weight of a dime to be used in vending machines and parking meters.

I'll be out in the garage if anyone wants me to make them one for the parking meters. LOL
