CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Uploading Images to a Post - UNKNOWN ERROR

    I'm trying to upload some images to a new post. Have tried a single image, .JPG (187k), but I keep getting an "UNKNOWN ERROR" in the site's upload window. Is 187k too large?

    The forum is having issues with images. Hang in there and hopefully it is sorted out soon.

      I see many posts with images. How are others getting past the Unknown Error? :S

      I found a superb GEM BU 1955-D Lincoln that looked like it had to be a one-of-a-kind damaged at the mint. Lots of those in Wheats....

      Then I found another and another. They are all identical. I swear I'm seeing parts of a horizontal mint mark underneath "LIBERTY". I see icicles/snow caps on the bottoms of the 5's in the date. If there were only one of them I wouldn't be so anxious, but since there's more I am really chomping at the bit to ask everyone's opinion here!

      It is possible for me to send these images to CONECA outside of the forum for the timebeing?

        You can try posting your photos now. Most of the issues with the forum seem to have been addressed.
