CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

    Hello Heartwith2.
Yes I've used Verdicare. A word of warning. anything with Natural patina - the REV of your coin, will be lighter then the original RED. I would not ever use the solution on a coin for grading or a high grade circ. Leave the stuff for circ - brown coins that need the debris removed. The stuff will NOT remove corrosion, but will remove the green.

Yes eaxtellcoin, totally agree. You have to know and watch where you use it for sure. Corrosion on a coin is toast!

Did you see the before pictures of this coin?

No, Looks like a nice clip though! I hardly ever respond on errors but I saw Verdicare so I decided to look!

Actually the before photo's show up as another thread. Probably should have posted the before, then underneath the original thread - next post - post the after photo's.
The coin looks dull before because of your lighting - directly on the coin. When you shot the after photo's you used a slightly different light angle. making the coins look red on the OBV. Like I said it does a good job of removing debris, I believe you were a bit lucky it removed the print. Most of the time it will not do that, but to me it still appears CL. Sorry
