CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

    1979 D- Quarter

Okay I went out and bought a coin book to study more. But in the mean time I believe I have found an error coin. If I am wrong
I will not continue to post.
On the Reverse side the is part of the leaf missing,

Once again...this is all damage. There is evidence all over this coin including in the area by the leaf. I would tend to stay away from circulated coins until you learn what is damage and what is not.

How can it be a damaged coin, if half of the leaf is missing ??

There is no way that this could have happened during the minting process. Like Bob has said about this coin and many others you have posted, its damage. You were sent an email when you joined asking not to overwhelm the gentlemen that are doing this out of the kindness of their hearts. I would say that over 350 post in a month is a bit excessive. I get that your excited and want to find that special coin, but the stuff that you have been posting is pocket change that should remain as such. I would suggest that you pick up a Cherry Pickers Guide or a book by CONECA member Ken Potter called Strike it Rich with Pocket change. I would also recommend that you google US Minting Process and watch a few videos that the US mint has put out. These should show you how coins are minted and then you can ask yourself. How could what I am seeing on this coin have happened during that process. Make sure they are US Mint videos. I have seen a boatload of "so called experts" putting out videos and saying this coin is worth Millions.
