Generic search strategies?
I have a generic search strategy question. I'm about to start a major error search and its a buffalo nickel collection. There is a primary collection book, a secondary collection book, a few uncirculated rolls and 10 circulated rolls. From the die variety book I see there are DDO/DDR/RPM/OMM listings. Is the best strategy to use the die variety book and search the coins for the known errors by date and mint mark? Or should I be putting every coin under the microscope? While my knowledge is increasing most of what I have found on my own has been machine doubling but that has been with current coins... Thanks for the advice!Tags: None
