CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Well, it definitely looks like a steel penny, but I don't know if it would be possible to verify the date on such a beat up specimen. More likely it is just a 1943 one that is just badly beat up.

      When I put it on the microscope it I don't see the form of a 3 you could see the form on how beat up is the coin I have bit up coin and you could still see the the form of the number

          This is simply a damaged 1943 cent. Toss it or save it and move on. Almost every coin you have ever posted is damaged. It would be beneficial to research some of that stuff before you post it here. If it looks like damage, it is probably damaged.
